Q. How do I choose the system for my requirements?

A. Don’t worry, AAC can do that for you, with a no obligation site survey, we can offer you various options to suit your taste and décor.

Q. Will we need extensive building work to accommodate a system?

A. Not usually, due to the large choice of systems available, we can recommend the right one to suit your application and so limit disruption to your existing surroundings.

Q.What is a ‘Heat Pump’?

A. A heat pump is a machine, which by reversing its refrigeration cycle, can provide heating instead of cooling. Because a heat pump uses refrigerant it can upgrade the heat in the air even at -15c to a useable heat source to heat buildings. Imagine a domestic fridge or freezer reverses its cycle and the black grill on the back will be very cold while the inside will be very hot.
Heat pumps can extract heat from air and water and are nearly always used to both heat and cool a space very efficiently and economically. Heat pumps offer substantial energy savings resulting in reduced running costs and lower CO2 emissions.

Q. What is inverter technology?

A. All our systems come with inverter technology, this means you will have a system that only consumes the energy needed to reach the selected temperature and keep it constant, this results in quieter systems, greater comfort and lower running costs, in fact most of the systems we install are Energy ‘A’ rated.

Q. Is air conditioning noisy?

A. Unlike air conditioning that con be purchased from DIY stores, we can ensure that the systems we install provide comfort that is felt and not heard.
